The Internship Program for Law Students 

Position: Intern

Duration: 6 months (1st of November 2021 – 30th of April 2022)

Location: Basic Courts in Prishtina, Peja, Gjakovë, Ferizaj, Gjilan, Mitrovicë, Prizren and their branches.

Type of practice: Full-time paid internship ($200/month)

Criteria and Qualifications:

• Student (final year) or law graduate from public or private universities in Kosovo;
• Possess professional spoken and written communication skills in Albanian (knowledge of English or Serbian is an advantage);
• Basic computer skills as well as programs such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
• Knowledge of legal procedures and ability to compile legal documents;
• Ability and willingness to work independently and in a dynamic work environment;
• Possess identification documents and bank accounts.

Main tasks:

• Provide professional support to judges and court staff;
• Assist in other duties as the court may require;
• Demonstrate flexibility in working hours;
• Report to YIHR KS on a monthly basis and to court staff as needed.
