LISTEN TO YOUNG PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THEIR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL RIGHTS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AT THE LIVING LIBRARY ACTIVITY

During the Living Library activity organized in Ferizaj, Kamenica and Lipjan within the project “Protection of economic and social rights during and after the Covid-19 pandemic”, young people talked about the impact that the pandemic has had on their lives.

As the pandemic has largely endangered all economic and social rights due to job closures and the transition of the education system, this activity has highlighted the challenges that young people have faced during the pandemic by focusing on economic and social rights.

Economic and social rights such as the right to an adequate standard of living and the right to social protection guarantee people decent living standards such as water, food, assistance and social security. Also, these rights guarantee living with dignity and to participate in our society by having equal access to health services in relevant institutions.

This project has been funded by UNMIK.
